Everything you need to plan the flight.
Straight to the Mara
The road to the Maasai Mara is beautiful, but it is slow. A private charter from Wilson Airport gets you to the reserve in 45 to 60 minutes, leaving more of the day for game drives.
Apinai Air charters the whole Caravan for your group, so the departure time follows your itinerary rather than a shared seat schedule.
Kichwa Tembo Airstrip
Kichwa Tembo Airstrip serves the western Mara and a cluster of safari camps. Landing there puts you close to the river, the plains and the afternoon game drive.
If your lodge uses a different airstrip, tell us in the request. We confirm landing permissions and strip conditions before quoting.
Safari transfers and scenic charters
Some groups fly in for a full safari; others want a scenic flight and a bush breakfast before returning to Nairobi. Both are built around the same flexible charter.
- One-way or return safari transfers
- Whole-aircraft charters for up to 12
- Scenic low-level flying over the Mara
- Multi-stop safari itineraries on request
Good to know.
